As the world changed as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, the Our Voice Matters project had to find new and innovative ways to keep people connected and feeling valued through periods of lockdown and isolation.  Whilst the co-production work outlined as a regional recommendations in the project’s Phase 1 report had to be placed on hold, new opportunities for people with lived experiences to share their experiences and have their voices heard emerged.  The Our Voice Matters project was then able to harness these experiences, thoughts and ideas and create ways for service managers and decision makers to meet with people with lived experiences and front line staff to ensure that as we entered a ‘new normal’ we built upon the lesson learned and the resilience discovered as a result of operating in crisis mode.
